Specialized Cleaning
No matter how bad it looks we can make it look better. Dunkin & Bush has a huge arsenal of equipment and specialized procedures for a variety of industrial cleaning.
The following examples are of specialized cleaning projects for a variety of industrial customers.
Sponge Jet
D&B uses impregnated sponge and special blasting equipment to
strip old coatings and remove grease and oil from a large press section on a paper machine. Special care is given to protect all sensitive components. The project was a huge success performed in a short shutdown work window
Ultra High Pressure Water Cleaning
40,000 psi water is used to strip 50 to 60
mils of polyurea from 70' long by 5' diameter pipe exteriors. The process is dust free and three to four times faster than traditional abrasive blasting.
Bicarbonate of Soda Blasting
Specialized equipment and procedures are used to
clean delicate copper wires inside of a several stories high precipitator. The soda was aggressive enough to clean years of built up material but not damage the millions of copper wires inside the precipitator.
Diamatic Diamond Floor Surfacer
Un-even rough concrete floor surfaces are brought back to a new smooth surface with this vacuum assisted walk behind machine. Computer settings keep exact tolerances for material removed. A dust free procedure enables our work to not interfere with yours.
Chemical Cleaning
Many years of experience have provided a proven list of specialized products and procedures for everything from de-greasing to stripping
lead based coatings in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
Inspection Cleaning
Prior to repairs on tanks, vessels, and containments D&B cleans the way with degreasing, pressure washing, and abrasive blasting. Confined spaces, petroleum storage tanks, elevated tanks are no problem for the experienced D&B crews.
