A team of Dunkin & Bush estimators inspects the entire facility, surveying the quantities and substrate coating systems, degree of rust, film thickness, adhesive, ph levels, operating temperatures, the presence of lead and safety needs. Priorities are established not only in regards to conditions and exposures of substrates, but also, with continual input from plant operators, in terms of annual funding, shut down schedules, items planned for obsolescence and replacement value.
The dynamic uses of these tools are numerous. The compiled survey data is entered into a secure online database. This program can be accessed online with a proper password, no CD's or new software needed. Online benefits are many, including easy to use, accessible from terminals outside of your home office and can be viewed by multiple users from multiple locations, truly live information. The online program lists all the work items in the facility with specific priorities and areas. Specifications and standards are provided within. Total costs, including labor, materials and equipment are presented, in a spreadsheet format, by work item and also by scheduled work year, with the survey work year being flexible by available funding amounts.
